"Oh shit it's late...". Anjali works in a cafe which closes around 10pm usually. Since it's winter people are crazily drown in coffee beans. She lived in the flat above the little bookshop her aunt owned.
"Should I call him? Nah he should if he care". She had a fight with her boyfriend of 4 years since collage , because he stood her up for the date they planned after a long time. Just when she was about to step out..."hey beautiful.." There comes her not so innocent handsome boyfriend Rahul.
"Please Rahul not now.." she said tiredly. why not if you're tired let me pick you up. He picked her up in a bridal style and start to walk. She didn't say a word and let him do as he please . Throughout the walk he was just blabbering thing which she didn't mind much. But the thing which angered her the most was he was not even saying sorry for ruining their date. And when they reached home.
Rahul: (sighs, setting down his keys)
Anjali, I know. I got caught up at work, and then—
Anjali: (cutting him off)
Don’t. Just… don’t start with excuses. You told me to cancel my plans. You said, “Stay in. I want tonight to be just us.” So I did. I waited.
Rahul: I know I messed up, okay? But it wasn’t like I was out having fun. I was stuck—
Anjali: You didn’t call. You didn’t text. You just disappeared. You made me sit here wondering if I was even worth a damn minute of your day.
Rahul: (voice rising slightly)
That's not fair. You know how hectic my schedule is right now. I didn't mean to hurt you.
Anjali: (angrily)
But you did hurt me, Rahul! You asked me to stay because you wanted it. And I said yes because I thought… maybe you were finally putting us first.
Rahul: (softens a little)
I wanted to. I still want to. But I can’t control everything, Anjali.
Anjali: No, but you can try. You can send a message. Make a call. Show up — even if it’s messy. Instead, you made me feel like I was the only one waiting for this relationship to matter.
(There’s a pause. Rahul steps closer but doesn’t reach for her.)
Rahul: I didn’t mean to stand you up. I just… I lost track of time. And then I was scared to call, scared you’d hear the stress in my voice and think I didn’t care.
Anjali: (teary but firm)
I’d rather hear your stress than hear nothing at all. Silence feels like being forgotten, Rahul.
Rahul: (quietly)
You’re not forgotten. Not even for a second. But maybe I haven’t been showing that the way you need me to.
Anjali: (after a long pause)
I don’t need perfection. I just need effort. I need to feel like I’m not loving you alone.
Anjali hugged him so tightly. They stood like that for sometime until he pulled away saying.. " you look really beautiful can I just eat you out?" Shhh....lower your voice aunt may be there... " Please anjali I need you tonight.... My dick is jumping seeing you" ... shameless come inside... She laughed and drag him to her room. And then....
